If the built-in demo importer isn’t working properly, we recommend trying the following:
- Check for Server Limitations: Sometimes, server limitations (such as PHP memory limits or file permissions) can prevent the demo import from completing successfully. If you’re receiving an error when attempting to import, it’s possible that your server settings are restricting the process. In this case, you may need to provide your FTP credentials in order to save files on the server. Disable/remove/check this restriction.
- Ensure PHP Settings Are Correct: Make sure your PHP memory limit, max execution time, and file upload size are sufficient to handle the demo import. You may want to contact your hosting provider to ensure these settings are appropriate for importing large demo files.
- Check for Theme and Plugin Updates: Ensure that both the Futurio theme and any required plugins are up to date. An outdated plugin or theme might cause compatibility issues during the import process.
